The MultiPro tailgate is easily the most trick of the bunch, a clever re-think of a mostly overlooked component. It’s essentially a tailgate-within-the-tailgate, which allows for six different configurations, including a load-stop for longer items, a drop-down step, and a work station. The MultiPro construction felt robust and solid, with heavy-duty hinges and lever arms, which suggests GMC realized the first rule of improving things that are not necessarily broken: if you’re going to add features and complication, it had better last.
His story has been covered on GM-Trucks.com, but I got in touch with him to get a more detailed account.
I’ve also seen one with the flat plane of the chip perpendicular to the stem, not edge-mounted like the one in the photo.

9. The long-travel suspension isn’t shy on pavement. Once you’ve made it back civilization, the Scrambler 1200 XE romps over the street’s impurities without a second thought, and its taught chassis will translate all of that information to the rider, luckily, without becoming uncomfortable. At faster canyon paces, the tall XE doesn’t transform into a floppy mess that is stereotypical of dual-sport machines at street paces.
But this wasn’t a freak incident, and Matt’s video isn’t the only one proving as much. That clip he posted got lots of folks talking about this issue, bringing to my attention a number of other cases of Colorados blowing their airbags while off-road. Just look at the video above that someone posted in the comments of Matt’s clip.
Incredibly a great deal of effort has been put forth to deflect by posting completely unrelated ,unverified and alleged at best propaganda. Deflection is the refuge of those of those who find themselves in an unbecoming position.
When the 2019 Silverado was unveiled in January at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show, Chevrolet said the redesigned full-size pickup truck would be offered with six engine/transmission combinations, but it only named three. The firm is now ready to fill in some of the blanks.
Stage V includes a broader range of engine powers and applications, including off-highway machinery, and so manufacturers have been investing in cleaner engine research for many years in preparation. The Stage V regulations will come into force for engines below 56kW and above 130kW in January 2019, and for those in between one year later.
Finn, a “roadie” who says his work as a production manager in the entertainment industry has made him quite familiar with electrical systems, believes his modifications couldn’t possibly have affected the airbag system, calling GM’s alleged suggestion that they did “lies” and “bullshit.”
A clutch is used to couple and decouple a vehicle’s engine from its manual transmission so that the driver can shift gears. In a traditional clutch system, the clutch pedal is connected to the clutch by one of two methods. Older vehicles like pre-1987 Porsche 911′s (and many others) used a cable to link pedal to clutch. Most other cars use a hydraulic system that sees the clutch pedal attached to a hydraulic master cylinder that then uses fluid pressure to actuate a slave cylinder on the transmission itself.
