The worldwide market for Diesel Engines for Non-Automotive Applications Market is expected to grow at a CAGR of roughly xx% over the next five years, will reach xx million US$ in 2023, from xx million US$ in 2018.
According to Automotive Fleet, GM/ Chevy informed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration that there was Base radio default in their pickup trucks. The base radio gives off warnings if the key is left in the ignition or if seat belts aren’t clipped on properly. It also warns you if the doors are left open. Without the base radio working correctly it would cause the trucks not to be in compliance with motor vehicle safety standards. The alert can prevent needless injuries, and theft of the vehicle in case a driver or a passenger forgets. Pickup trucks affected are the 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 and the 2005 Silverado HD. There were no deaths or injuries reported due to this defect but Chevy took it seriously and fixed it of no charge to the customers.
Furthermore, having personally sampled some of the current implementations of active safety systems, I find them to be incredibly poorly implemented and are a distraction themselves. That you would like to foist this distraction AND make ME pay for it for the sake of your family’s perceived increase in safety is what set me off.
But this wasn’t a freak incident, and Matt’s video isn’t the only one proving as much. That clip he posted got lots of folks talking about this issue, bringing to my attention a number of other cases of Colorados blowing their airbags while off-road. Just look at the video above that someone posted in the comments of Matt’s clip.
2. Main manufacturers/suppliers of both Small Diesel Engine (Non-Road) market and worldwide share by regions, together with product and company debut;
1. Horsepower. It is obvious that Honda is over their “slow-is-better” phase. With 60.21 horses, it is an awesome engine from bottom to top.2. Ergos. Nothing feels as nice, comfy and well-laid-out as a CRF450.3. Electric starting. Ken Roczen dropped it for the weight, but we’ll keep it for the ease of use.4. Maps. We like the maps, but we always ran the stock one. The aggressive map felt crisper but actually gave up one horse everywhere.5. Handlebars. Lower is better. The oversize Renthal FatBars mean adios to 7/8th inch bars.6. Launch control. This is the first time that Honda added launch control. It is overly complicated but offers three different settings.
My 2004 F150 had discs on all four corners along with ABS. You couldn’t stop on a slippery slope for love or money. The ABS would just slip-grip-slip-grip-slip-grip along.
Another story comes from a gentleman named Mike Saad, who commented on the GM-Trucks.com story about Joe’s incident. Saad’s post shows a dark Colorado with its side airbags deployed after apparently driving on a fire road. He writes:
Where is tnt, gms and papa??? You guys are all over the ford recalls, which have no crashes or injuries, yet you say great job GM???? You are happy people got injured in these lackluster trucks? Wow, government motors and their fans are worse than the rest of us thought…..
Politicians and bureaucrats don’t see the difference, and don’t care. They want to expand their fiefdoms, and nothing else matters.
