Nothing against GM, and I hope they get it dangerous issue fixed for real this time, but that is the most God awful picture of a Chevy. I have never seen a more hideous color or sick looking truck.

We checked to see if there was a leak from the clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder, but there were no external leaks. We then bled the clutch system (master cylinder, slave cylinder and clutch damper) to see if there was air in the system. There was a small amount of air in the system, but after bleeding it out, the clutch was still malfunctioning.

There have also been times when the heat just does not shut off, which can make anyone uncomfortable.

You see; I overcompensate when it comes to my beloved GM. When Ford or Ram has a recall, I love to run my mouth endlessly stating how they are crap, but when my beloved GM has a recall I minimize it saying it’s an easy fix.

The move however didn’t make the truck more efficient but turned it into a money pit. The truck became an oil burner and also had issues with head bolts. Apart from the earlier mentioned problems, this trucks also came with issues such as high compression ratio, lifted cylinder heads and weak torque.

Short answer, yes, and you’re at the mercy of the dealerships pricing on parts and labor…However, aftermarket options exist…
