New features in the update for the AGC-4 and AGC200 genset controllers allow up to 32 gensets to be handled by one power plant. The update adds a new warm-up sequence after generator breaker synchronisation, which means power will remain at the lowest stage until a pre-set temperature or input is reached. This results in the generator running on a lower load until it has warmed up, bringing the benefits of lower wear and tear and reducing the time taken to reach optimal operating temperature.

But what really adds value to the vehicle are the service receipts. When you buy a used car, it may run, drive, and sound great. But it’s hard to determine how long a vehicle and its many subsystems will last based on how it appears to operate today. What you need to know is how the vehicle has been treated over the long term.

If power steering assist is lost (i.e., the vehicle reverts to manual steer) a driver information center (DIC) message may alert the driver to an EPS problem.

B) On the twisty 2 lane by my brother’s house, I was not going much more than the speed limit, maybe 45 in a 35 in an absolutely minimally populated and minimally driven (at almots midnight) back road. I’d have seen any oncoming cars by their headlights, and I was never entering the oncoming lane, just putting a tire on either the center divider or the edge line to carve a cleaner corner. The system absolutely freaked out about this.

A fuel cell comprises an anode, a cathode and an electrolyte membrane and functions by hydrogen being passed through the anode and oxygen through the cathode. Hydrogen molecules are split at the anode into electrons and protons, with the protons passing through the electrolyte membrane and electrons being forced through a circuit, generating a current and excess heat. Protons, electrons and oxygen combine at the cathode to produce water molecules. The technology allows hydrogen to be directly converted to power with zero emissions.

Oh, and the backup camera in my Mustang already needs replaced after 2 and a half years. Luckily the car is still under warranty, but I don’t want to image what all these systems would cost to repair out of warranty.

Totally agree with you. Unacceptable by GM. They need to take care of the issue. IDC if it saves them a billion dollars. It looks bad when lives are on the line.

" Had complete brake failure. Was able to get the truck stopped. Saw it was 2 pints low on fluid. Added fluid, drove towards my auto shop, had to stop to fill the brake fluid again (the light went on this time). Did this a few times. Just before I got to the stop, the truck blew out some smoke, chugged, and the motor seized up. Towed the truck to the shop, they found out the master cylinder leaked and the vacuum lines sucked the brake fluid out of the master cylinder and dumped it into the cylinders in the motor and this blew my motor. I hear there is a recall for this on 2014 F-150S but not on the 2011. Terrible design. A brake problem should not blow up my motor." – Aug 11, 2018

all brand have recalls. even the famous GMSRGREAT cant argue that. they all have problems at some point. as far as which one truck is better…there all the same. there great when they work and junk when they don’t.

As for me, I won’t buy a new car unless I can turn this technology off – even if I have to pull a fuse or two.
