I would be happy to see deregulating of the automotive safety space: if you want to commute in a Mahindra Roxor to work, more power to you. If you think that’s crazy and insist on buying a car with 10 airbags, hey that’s your choice as well, the market provides that. My guess is that most people car shopping would favor cars with at least a reasonable level of safety, but if someone came on the market with a $6000 reincarnation of the Nissan Tsuru (’91-’94 Sentra), maybe they would sell a few to cheapskates like me. I’m comfortable with that.
In 2015 General Motors dodged another recall which came four years after a federal investigation into many of the older trucks. Over 5 million Chevrolet and GMC vehicles were affected more so those in salt estate. The rusting occurred on the brake lines. Despite reports says that the rust doesn’t make the vehicles defective, the question is who on earth wants to ride on a vehicle with rust on them? The corrosion makes the driver of feels like the back wheels are smocking. The GMC vehicles that were affected were those built between 1997 and 2003 and some of the vehicles included Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra Pickups.
GM kids cant follow the topic, hilarious
It’s difficult to offer a cost differential between a typical 700R4 and 4L60E overdrive transmission because there are so many variables that will directly affect the end game. The controllers alone vary from $650 to over $1,400. We priced comparable 700R4 and 4L60E transmissions from Hughes Performance for example, and the price difference on just the transmission was only $100 ($1,834 vs. $1,934 through Summit Racing), so based on that, the 4L60E could run an additional $1,000 to $1,200 more depending upon the component choices.
nanny-mandate (my own cutesy term I just coined): you’d like to see a bunch of these “nanny” safety systems mandated by the government or other regulatory agency for all cars on the roads.
There were moments during MXA’s several-month-long 450 shootout period when the 2019 Kawasaki was the front runner for first place. It is by far the most improved bike of 2019. Every test rider enjoyed the deceivingly fast engine, light-feeling chassis, clean ergos and nice design touches, but, and this is a big but, it is a “first-year model.” First-year models always have teething problems, and the more we raced the 2019 KX450, the more the problems came to the surface. Those problems began to sap our enthusiasm for the Kawasaki KX450. Even though we still liked it, we liked it less and less when the clutch kept burning through plates (hydraulic or not), the over-size rear brake locked up at the least opportune times, the forks bottomed because of the soft fork springs, the bottom chain roller self-destructed, and we realized the airbox design was convoluted. There is one caveat to all of this. If you feel that you can live with the flaws, chase down solutions and stay on top of the maintenance, then go for it. It is the lightest of the Japanese-built bikes.
Life is priceless. That is precisely why we should instill safe driving habits in our children instead of relying on everyone else do it around them.
Trucks often need to do more than drive around so there are two different trailering camera packages available on the Silverado. One gives you a guide-lined backup view for approaching the trailer, plus a look down at the hitch for final positioning. The more advanced trailering package builds on those functions with side views that look down the length of the truck and trailer, and a forward view that gives you a look at whatâs next to the truckâs front tires, which is also handy for four-wheel drive adventures. Finally, you can get an auxiliary camera that mounts on the back of your trailer. Itâs hard-wired through the truckâs rear bumper and allows you to see whatâs behind the trailer.
It is critical for the technician to check the service information and deactivate these systems before removing the calipers and wheel speed sensors.
I think, if you send email to your automaker(s) it will be more effective than writing here. Yea, yellow jacket with side arm, will work the best

I am ok with technology that helps in an emergency situation, but against technology that alerts the driver that they may be entering an emergency situation.
