There are actual tracks that have a wet skid apron available to practice the fun stuff. I know because I have done it.
So yeah, I do want you to have the very best in warning systems, selfishly for MY OWN SAFETY. And if that means I end up paying more for my vehicle, that’s a minor price in my opinion.
To the next owner, the records tell the vehicle’s service history over the years—which major parts have been swapped (in my case, it was quite a few parts that commonly fail on XJs), how frequently the fluids were checked and replaced, and what sorts of accidents the car has been involved in. It helps to give an idea of what still needs to be done, taking some of the unwanted surprise out of used vehicle ownership. Plus records help with troubleshooting of future faults.
The 25 kW 350 V DC variable speed diesel generator has been named the Range Extender by Torqeedo, and acts as a backup battery charger for that companys BMW-I lithium batteries,

The plaintiffs claim the hydraulic clutch system is defective where the “clutch pedal loses pressure, sticks to the floor, and fails to engage/disengage gears."
I would love a backup camera. In so many cars of this era it’s very hard to see out the back window, including my ’08 Civic. The general lack of visibility drives me nuts. I’d rather instead of various cameras and warnings, that the feds would mandate visibility. That would make driving more of a pleasure, as well as increasing safety.
1. Seat foam. Yamaha made a big deal about its 16-percent-denser seat foam. We had to replace our 2019 seat after 10 hours because the foam broke down.2. Ergos. Even though it is thinner than it was two years ago, it is a big, bulky, wide and heavy bike.3. Weight. You can feel the 238 pounds any time you lean the bike over.4. Blue rims. We prefer silver rims. Blue rims belong on a TM. We don’t hate that the rims are anodized a color, just that dark-colored rims end up looking like salt and pepper in a short time. Black and blue rims get scratched up by tire irons and chipped by roost. With silver rim, you don’t see the damage.5. Handlebar height. The handlebar mounts are too tall; switch to the 5mm lower bar mounts from the 2017 YZ450F.6. Air filter. The filter should not lie on top of the backfire screen. Why not? The pulsing engine sucks the filter oil downward and dirt follows it. A Twin Air air filter Band Aids the issue.7. Noise. With the airbox mounted where the gas tank would normally go, there is a lot of noise that wasn’t there when that space was just gasoline.
“I was climbing uphill, and [the truck] leaned over to the right…Yeah, the airbags went off. OnStar came on, I managed to get the truck started, tucked the airbags back in, and drove it home.”
1) Regarding my family, my issue is putting them in a safe vehicle. So the laws of efficiency/mass production mean that the more vehicles are manufactured with useful safety features, the more chances that I will be able to purchase/afford one for them. Coincidentally, if more are available for me, then that means that they will also be available for others. That is direct Millsian Utilitarianism.
In old-school driving, PJ, pumping didn’t mean, “stab the brake as rapidly as possible,” it meant to “threshold brake until you feel the traction let go, release the brakes and do it again–as often as necessary to come to a safe stop.” Granted, some people could never learn that lesson but some could and did. You also learned more about steering and throttle to try and maintain control, even in a slide, since most cars were RWD at the time.
